Echinacea

Botanical Name: Echinacea purpurea, asteraceae

 

Use: an immune system stimulant.

Serving  Ideas: make Echinacea root tea

1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil

2. Add 1 tablespoon of dried chopped Echinacea root

3. Turn down heat & cover. Let simmer for 1 hour (liquid should be reduced by approximately 1/2 cup)

4. Strain into a container.

5. Drink 1/2 cup 3times a day.
